This country has given me a lot since I first arrived here in 2007. I have seen how far values such as aspiration and hard work can take you. That is why I have always felt the need to put something back into Horley - a place I am proud to call home.
Since my election as borough councillor for Horley West and Sidlow, I have worked hard to voice residents’ enquiries about the frequency of road sweeping operations and address concerns about the maintenance of public green spaces. I have also kept to my mission of ensuring that residents continue to receive real value for money in the public services by holding cabinet members and council officers to account on the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
I have taken a leading role in shaping the development and construction of a community centre in Westvale Park to make sure that any future infrastructure will serve local residents and be free at the point of use.
If you re-elect me, you will have a local champion who will fight for good public services that you can rely on and be proud of.
