We are thrilled to announce James Baker as one of our candidates for Horley East & Salfords in the upcoming Reigate & Banstead Borough Council elections on 6 May.
James Baker is currently a Horley Town Councillor and represents the West ward. He moved to Horley over ten years ago and is a care worker in the local area. Previously, he worked in London as an advertising executive. James is also proud to have served in the British Army.
James is a strong believer in community engagement, utilising the diverse skills and perspectives of residents to drive better outcomes for the area. He is a founding member of HATs, which amongst other things, organises the town's St. George's day celebrations, the Christmas fair, and fundraises each year to put up the Christmas lights in Horley. His interests include reading, engineering, history and nature.
