Cllr Becky Rush has shared the following update on the Farleigh Road resurfacing works.
Great news - the Farleigh Road resurfacing is booked into the system, it will start on 12 April for 15 days.
12-18 April 8am-6pm
From 19th April 9.30 am - 3pm
This is to allow for school drop off and pick up once children return post Easter.
Mint Walk to Sunnybank
The road will be opened outside these hours and the road closure will progress along the road.
Affected residents will receive leaflets in the coming days.
I have received some questions from residents so to share with all:
- speed cushions and tables will be reinstated once surfacing is complete. The good news is that over time they do shrink and once reinstated will be the standard height again.
- there are some driveways where the drop kerb is higher than the road where is has sunk a bit. This will all be addressed but do Siena to the contractors when they get to your section of the road to flag any concerns to them.
